#LagosDecides2023: Labour Party’s GRV Loses Polling Unit to Sanwo-Olu
FastNews Nigeria reports that in the race for governor of Lagos State, the incumbent, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the country’s ruling party, defeated Labour Party contender Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour in his voting district.
According to one online news source, Sanwo-Olu received 29 votes to defeat Labour Party Candidate GRV’s 18 votes.
Olajide Adeniran, also running for office and better known by his stage name Jandor, received two votes from the electorate.
Polling unit 01 at Oshifila Street, Anifowoshe, Ikeja recorded one vote as invalid.
In the House of Assembly election, the PDP received just one vote, while the LP received 34 and the APC 15, respectively.
