Burna Boy will perform at the UEFA Champions League final in 2023.

Burna Boy, a Grammy Award winner, will perform in the 2023 UEFA Champions League.

On Saturday, June 10, the multi-platinum-selling artist will co-headline Pepsi’s Champions League Final ‘Kick off Show’ at Istanbul’s Atatürk Olympic Stadium.

When the largest club fixture in football begins, ‘Odogwu’ will be giving the vibrant Afrobeats vibes to millions of fans.

“The UEFA Champions League final is the stand-out event of the club football calendar, and Pepsi prides itself on celebrating the occasion with the very finest entertainment spectacles,” said Gustavo Reyna, Pepsi senior director of global marketing, in announcing the news.

“This year’s Kick Off Show by Pepsi is going to be big; we’re so happy to welcome Burna Boy, one of the world’s most exciting performers, to the final stage, and we can’t wait to see which fans are chosen to feature as part of this truly unmissable performance.”

“Being a passionate football fan myself, I know it doesn’t get any bigger than the UEFA Champions League!” stated the ‘Last Last’ blockbuster global hit producer in response to the development. That’s why I’m thrilled to be playing on the Pepsi stage at this year’s championship.

“Music and football are the ideal combos, so you already know I’ll be delivering the vibes and making magic in Istanbul. The world is not prepared for what we have planned.”

“The UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show is a crucial component of our collaborative efforts with Pepsi, giving an excellent opportunity to reach new and younger audiences with some of the biggest names and rising talents in music,” said UEFA marketing director Guy-Laurent Epstein. We’re thrilled to present a strong lineup of artists at this season’s Final in Istanbul, in what is sure to be an enthusiastic and memorable performance.”

The UEFA Champions League Final Kick off Show by Pepsi, originally known as the UEFA Champions League Opening Ceremony, is now in its seventh year and mixes music, sport, and culture in a spectacular display.

Another co-headliner for this year will be revealed soon.
