Leading financial organisation Fidelity Bank Plc has given the Asmau Dambatta Foundation a number of educational resources in an effort to encourage the provision of high-quality education in the nation.
“At Fidelity Bank, we think that the success of the communities where we operate is closely related to our own as an institution. This guides the numerous Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) interventions we make around the nation to raise community standards of living.
“For us, corporate social responsibility (CSR) extends beyond generosity to include sustainability as we want to equip the future generation to meet any difficulties and seize any opportunities that may present themselves. What better way to accomplish this than through facilitating their academic success? Because of this, we are giving educational supplies, like as school supplies and desks, to the Asmau Dambatta Foundation today, said Alh. Isa Mohammed Inuwa, Non-Executive Director, Fidelity Bank Plc, at the brief ceremony held to mark the contribution in Kano State on January 5, 2023.
1,000 pieces of men’s clothing, 1,500 pieces of hijabs, 5,000 pieces of 60-leaf notebooks, and 100 double seater workstations are among the donated items.
Alh. Balarabe Musa Bala, a trustee of the foundation, thanked the bank’s management for the educational materials and promised the visitors that they would be used wisely, especially by the needy kids and community schools that were in desperate need of such supplies.
Almost 7.2 million customers are served by Fidelity Bank, a full-service commercial bank with 250 business locations and online banking services in Nigeria.
