Sanwo-Olu Hands Over an N10 Million Cheque to the Family of a Slain RRS Officer

FastNews reports that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu presented an N10 million cheque to the family of a deceased Rapid Response Squad officer, Inspector Adelakun Azeez, in accordance with the Lagos State Government’s policy of compensating bereaved families of gallant officers who died in the line of duty.

Speaking at the cheque presentation, the Governor, represented by his Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo, expressed sympathy for the late Inspector Azeez’s family, describing the monetary assistance as a token of the government’s contribution to the family’s upkeep.

Miss Adeola Rihanat Adelakun, who spoke on behalf of the family, thanked Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the kind gesture and lifeline, while also recognizing the Lagos State Government’s good work and commendable infrastructure projects.
