BREAKING: CBN Appoints New Executives for Union Bank, Keystone, and Polaris Bank

Earlier, the CBN said the dissolution of Titan Trust Bank, Union Bank, Keystone Bank, and Polaris Bank became necessary due to the non-compliance of these banks and their respective boards with the provisions of Section 12(c), (f), (g), and (h) of the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act, 2020, adding that the banks got themselves involved in activities that pose a threat to financial stability.

The CBN, however, assured Nigerians that the funds of depositors in the affected banks were safe and unaffected by the decision.
