UBA Ghana organized an induction ceremony for new graduate trainees.

The UBA Ghana Madina Branch had a special induction ceremony for our new class of graduate trainees on June 29, 2023. The program aimed to ensure a successful start to our banking careers by offering insightful information about the bank’s operations and culture.

Leading the induction process was Evelyn Quansah, UBA Ghana’s Head of HR, who delivered an opening speech outlining the bank’s values, principles, and future vision. Her introduction gave us a clear understanding of what UBA Ghana stands for and what to expect as part of this esteemed organization.

Throughout the ceremony, department heads, including Felix Ugbogbor, the Chief Operations Officer, and Henry Dottey, the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, shared their expertise with the trainees. Felix provided a comprehensive presentation on the bank’s main operations, offering practical advice to help us excel in our banking careers. Henry shed light on marketing strategies, effective communication techniques, external engagement, public relations, and corporate social responsibility, enriching our knowledge about these vital aspects of UBA Ghana’s goals.

The peak of the Induction Ceremony was reached when Chris Ofikulu, the Regional Chief Executive Officer (RCEO) and Managing Director, warmly welcomed them. He provided an orientation on the bank’s core values, emphasizing integrity, excellence, and customer satisfaction through the C1st philosophy. His inspiring words encouraged them to embrace these values throughout their professional journey with UBA Ghana.

MD Chris Ofikulu highlighted, “UBA believes in success built on trust, innovation, and exceptional service. We are dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities we serve, empowering individuals and businesses to thrive. Our commitment to excellence and our customers sets us apart in the banking industry.”

We look forward to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers and communities as we grow together.
