Double Honours: Dr. (Builder) Abdulhakeem Odegade Receives Awards

In recognition of his discipline, integrity, selfless service to humanity, visionary leadership, contribution to the youth and economic development of our dear nation, Dr. (Builder) Abdulhakeem Odegade, Managing Director of AKMODEL Groups was recognised by two outstanding organisations: Congress Of The Nigerian Youths (CONYO) and Yoruba Council Of Youths Worldwide (YCYW).

According to Comrade Ambassador Adetunji Abdulkabir Adeyinka, the secretary of CONYO, “CONYO is the umbrella body for all progressive Nigerian youth, both in Nigeria and the diaspora. They are active young men and women who are dedicated and committed to selfless service to change a whole generation ideology concerning the youths and some social vices which are mostly committed by the youth.”

Comrade Adeyinka quoted the words of the late sage Chief Obafemi Awolowo “You have never existed in life until you have contributed tremendously and magnificently into peoples who can never pay you back.”

“The organisation honours individuals that have performed wonderfully well in their chosen profession and those whose impacts are unquantifiable and have greatly contributed to the socio-economic development of our nation via poverty alleviation through job creation and employment.”

“Based on this, today we are here to celebrate our recipient, a man with a heart of gold, a philanthropist and equally a courageous, distinguished visionary leader who is hardworking, dedicated, committed and focused. We also charge him to continue his good deeds as we believe the sky is not the limit for him but the starting point.”

The second award from Yoruba Council Of Youths Worldwide (YCYW) through their representatives led by Mr. Waidi also acknowledges that “For your roles in displaying the Norms and Cultural values as an Omoluabi” Dr. Odegade deserves to be appreciated with the OMOLUABI PATAKI award.

While AKMODEL Groups in its commitment to excellence in details of erecting structures and quality construction also won an award as OMOLUABI BRAND.

Dr. (Builder) Abdulhakeem Odegade has clearly demonstrated these values both in his personal life and that of the company, after undergoing a strict screening which he was not even aware of in the organisations, the awards are the result.

In his response, The M.D welcomed the visitors once again and thanked them for counting him worthy to be honoured. While accepting the award, he said that while growing up, you hoped to be like some people just because they are hardworking and engaged in what is right in the society.

“So receiving these kind of awards An Ambassador Of Hope To The Youth and OMOLUABI PATAKI is not a right but a privilege and it is a call to do more and not relax or begin to feel comfortable.
I really appreciate the Congress of The Nigerian Youths and Yoruba Council Of Youths Worldwide, more progress, more achievements.”

He said he realises that more than before, he needs to touch more lives in the society.

“An award is like a catalyst or an energizer to do more by giving back to the society.”

The M.D reiterated that as usual with them, AKMODEL Groups is available to render any form of assistance within their capacity.

“Once again, on behalf of the staff, clients who makes the journey easy by believing in AKMODEL GROUPS, I thank you and pray that God will take you all back safely to your base, Amen”, he concluded.

Dr. (Builder) Abdulhakeem Odegade has been honored with many awards and accolades and he is very proud of each of them.
