FastNews reports that the Lagos State Police Command has arrested and detained two more students for allegedly being involved in the torture of Sylvester Oromoni, a 12-year-old student at Dowen College in Lekki, Lagos State.
This brings the total number of students detained by the police to five.
Meanwhile, three housemasters who were on duty on the day of the incident are being held by police.
According to police, they have obtained a court order to detain the students at the Juvenile Centre for 21 days.
Previously, three children were detained after visiting the State Criminal Investigative Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba, with their parents.
Two of the accused students’ parents have publicly stated that their children are not to blame for Sylvester Oromoni’s death.
