Governor Sanwo-Olu Reacts to the Death of Sylvester Oromoni: Dowen College.
FastNews reports that Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos state, has reacted to the death of Sylvester Oromoni, a class two student at Dowen College Lagos who was allegedly bullied to death by fellow students.
In a statement posted to his Instagram account, the governor expressed his condolences to the Oromoni family for the tragic incident. He stated that he had ordered an investigation into the situation.

“I express my heartfelt condolences to the family of late Sylvester (Jnr) Oromoni, a 12-year-old Dowen College student in Lagos.
As a parent, I understand the anguish that Sylvester’s death has caused his parents and the entire family. Not only is the incident sad, but it is also disturbing and heartbreaking.
As a result, I’ve ordered a thorough investigation into the situation. But, while that is going on, I’d like to extend to Sylvester’s parents and the entire Lagos citizenry,
