It was an eye opening day at the NURTW Lagos office at Oko-Oba, Agege, on Thursdays 2nd, July 2020 as the Anti-bomb Unit of The Nigeria Police Force led by Commander Agboola Desmond came to sensitize Union members on the Impact of Explosive Attacks.

The commander took his time to educate the people present on the various ways and means through which explosive devices could be detected.

The commander noted that the lecture is even more imperative as the country is gradually bouncing back from the negative impacts of the Coronavirus pandemic and the gradual re-opening of the economy.

The commander informed the Union members that as the motor parks will be operating in full capacity due to the lifting of the inter-state traveling ban, there is need to be security conscious at the motor parks in order to protect the lives of the passengers and those of the Union members. He implored the Union members to be vigilant as they carry out their duties.

Of equal importance was also the visit of the Managing Director of Lawman (Mr Ibrahim Ogunbori) and his team to the office of the NURTW Chairman. The courtesy visit was aimed at having a good working relationship with the Union so as to have a cleaner motor parks across the state.

The NURTW chairman, Alh. Musiliu Ayinde (Mc-Oluomo) thanked the Lawman MD and his team and promised a good working relationship with the agency for a better and cleaner Lagos.
