Hotel Cleared To Re-open .
The Lagos State Government has issued the Provisional Safety Compliance Clearance, numbered SC/HOT/000867, to BWC Hotel, Lagos.
It followed the state Safety Commission officers’ evaluation of measures put in place by the hotel at its Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos premises to prevent COVID-19 spread.
General Manager of the hotel, Mr. Upadhyay Uma Kant, said in a statement: “We are steadfast in our commitment to global best practices in safety and precautionary measures that will keep our guests safe and comfortable during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Upadhyay said the measures to include hourly routine cleaning as well as daily disinfection of all work/service areas and guest facilities; 48-hour interval between checking out and checking to allow for disinfection and deep cleaning; among others.
