FastNews reports that Emmanuel Yawe, the Arewa Consultative Forum’s (ACF) National Publicity Secretary, has died.

Yawe, 65, died in his sleep in the early hours of Friday in Abuja, according to Daily Trust.
On Thursday, he issued a statement on behalf of the ACF expressing condolences to the people of Benue State following the death of Hon. B. A Chacha, former Speaker of the House of Representatives.
However, Yawe’s daughter, Talatu Yawe, who confirmed his death to Daily Trust, said her father had been in and out of the hospital in the last few months, but was fine and at home throughout Thursday.
“Though he had been ill, he was fine yesterday (Thursday). She said that her husband didn’t wake up from sleep this morning (Friday).
The late Yawe is survived by his wife and four children.
