Fastnews Nigeria reports that the unpleasant news of the death of top Nigerian veteran singer,writer and producer hit the world yesterday 11 July morning.
Nigerian singer, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as SoundSultan, who died early hours of yesterday 11 Sunday July at the age of 44 has been buried.
The singer died after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.
The 44-year-old singer was buried same day he died) according to Muslim rites.
This online platform had reported how his death was announced in a statement on Sunday morning by his family.
His relative, Kayode Fasasi, who signed the statement, said Sound Sultan passed on after a “hard-fought battle” with the Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL), a rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
He is survived by a wife, three children and his siblings.
