High Chief Owolabi Salis loses mother to rip age of 98
Chief Owolabi Salis, the governorship candidate of the Alliance for Democracy loses his mother, Mama Tayibat Tijanni Fakunmoju to rip age. She is 98 years old, daughter of former Olumale of Ikorodu and survived by Children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren and a sister.
She died in her sleep on Friday, July 3, 2020 and committed to mother earth Saturday, July 4, 2020. May her departed soul rest in peace.
She is remembered for always giving to people around her, a legacy inherited by his son, Chief Owolabi Salis, the last born, popularly called Oba Mekunnu.
The Ikorodu people may likely witness another carnival of national culture in her celebration of life to be announced soon by the family.
